Many of my friends are upset that KBOQ changed away from the classical music it has played since 1983.
Here’s a quick and clean alternative.
1. Click here to get WCPE radio station on the Internet (Its in North Carolina).
2. If you don’t use a computer or the internet, or are in a place without a computer you can get a device called a “WiFi Radio.” With this radio you can tune into any radio station in the world (that is also on the web). The sound is clean and satisfying.
Here are two WiFi Radios sold by CCrane. One of them costs about $150 including tax and shipping.
These radios do require you to have internet access, though this is probably not a problem downtown or in a busy neighborhood. Just find out who your connected neighbors are and ask if you can pay them a small amount per month (say a few dollars) to use a small amount of their wifi signal.
Oh, I have to go they’re playing The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.
