He predicted our current multi-Trillion dollar welfare for weapons manufacturers.<\/p>\n<p>See if after you read this &#8211; you can dispute that the <strong>United States<\/strong> &#8220;War Department&#8221; is <strong>colluding with military corporations<\/strong> to wage &#8212; <strong>Perpetual War against Peace<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/United_States_Department_of_War \">Until 1947 our military boasted that it was in the war business. Armed conflict was conducted by our &#8220;War Department.&#8221;<\/a><\/p>\n<p>However, in the face of growing worldwide calls for peace, including the creation of the United Nations, our <strong class=\"StrictlyAutoTagBold\">War Department<\/strong> deceptively renamed itself (in two steps) &#8211; but kept the same mission, values and massively expanded its goals: as in <u>Perpetuate<\/u> and grow the war machine at any cost.<\/p>\n<p>Remember the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/United_States_involvement_in_the_2011_Libyan_civil_war\">little armed conflict in Libya 2011. We, as in (Obama &amp; Hillary Clinton), started it<\/a>. (I didn&#8217;t know the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2011\/03\/01\/world\/africa\/01assets.html?_r=1\">US had seized 30 Billion of Libya&#8217;s money and given it to the rebels<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>No one can forget the <strong>US&#8217; longest wars &#8211; Afghanistan and Iraq<\/strong> (Bush II) and the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Drone_attacks_in_Pakistan\">US bombing of Pakistan since 2004<\/a> (Bush II and Obama).<\/p>\n<p>Do you have any idea how many years the <strong class=\"StrictlyAutoTagBold\">US<\/strong> has been completely war-free since World War II ?<\/p>\n<p>Answer: The <strong class=\"StrictlyAutoTagBold\">US<\/strong> has been in <strong>at least one armed conflict <u>every single day going back to 1989<\/u> <\/strong>&#8211; &#8212; with no vacations.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/List_of_wars_involving_the_United_States\">Every Single Day since 1989 the US has been firing military weapons in at least one war.<\/a><\/strong> (This does not include the &#8220;war on terror&#8221; because that is not a genuine war since <strong>terrorism is only a tactic &#8211; not an enemy<\/strong>.)<\/p>\n<p>Oddly, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/List_of_wars_involving_the_United_States\">the last time the US had a whole year&#8217;s vacation from War was in 1985 &#8211; during Ronald Reagan&#8217;s tenure as President.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Prior to that the <strong class=\"StrictlyAutoTagBold\">Vietnam<\/strong> war began in 1953 and lasted until 1975. We did get a real five year respite after WW-2 from 1945 to 1950 &#8211; when the <strong class=\"StrictlyAutoTagBold\">Korean War<\/strong> began.<\/p>\n<p>A bill to create a <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Department_of_Peace\">Cabinet Level Department of Peace<\/a> <\/strong>was introduced by <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Kucinich\">Congressman Kucinich<\/a>.
