Melanoma No More"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>In 2003 after a significant amount of research, I wrote about 3 extremely promising potential cures for skin cancer \/ melanoma. <\/p>\n<p>Based on those research results, I predicted that within 10 years no one should die of skin cancer &#8211; the same as no one need die of starvation. <\/p>\n<p>Well, its not quite ten years yet, but this week two drugs were approved which solidly cure some skin cancers :<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Vemurafenib\">Vemurafenib<\/a> and the combination of <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Dacarbazine\">Dacarbazine<\/a> with <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ipilimumab\">Ipilimumab<\/a>. An article explaining the breakthroughs is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newscientist.com\/blogs\/shortsharpscience\/2011\/06\/celebration-over-treatment-for.html\">&#8220;Skin cancer treatment: Biggest breakthrough in 30 years&#8221; in NewScientist<\/a>.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nIndependently of these drugs, the three skin cancer cures I found are &#8212; <\/p>\n<p>1. <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Imiquimod\">Imiquimod,<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>2. <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Betulinic_acid\">Betulinic acid<\/a> (the white in Birch bark is Betulinic acid) and <\/p>\n<p>3. a <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Nih\">NIH experiment<\/a> that customizes T-cells to your personal immune system.<\/p>\n<p><center> # # #<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In 2003 after a significant amount of research, I wrote about 3 extremely promising potential cures for skin cancer \/ melanoma.
