Hyper-Dangerous Guard Rails<\/p><\/div>\n

Cal-Trans new Guardrail Design is outrageously dangerous to bike riders because they are severely Sharp-Edged and Stick out into Bike Lanes.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This one on a Carmel Highlands curve almost fully blocks the Bike Lane<\/strong> – but its hidden on approach. Surprising then forcing unsuspecting riders to swerve into traffic lane – or get their leg gouged by the guardrail, likely falling into traffic lane.<\/p>\n

Driver Alert Too<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you car or truck is next to or slightly behind the rider – the rider may swerve into your truck, or your truck may swerve into oncoming traffic.<\/p>\n

Every driver is also at risk from the insanely, inexplicably, unjustifiably sharp Guardrail End Caps that could rip through any vehicle!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Guardrails Ends must not be Sharp-edged. <\/strong>
\nTheir End-caps must not stick out into traffic more than the Guardrail itself.<\/p>\n

Or does Cal-Trans believe its more important to protect their Guardrails than us?<\/p>\n
