SpaceX is a Bankrupt TrainWreck ! “We’re always going to Lose Money”

Is SpaceX worth a Trillion dollars? Or is it really just Dodging Bankruptcy?

Lets just peek at two things:

  1. Biggest Loser: SpaceX has Lost more value than any company Ever ! Over a Trillion dollars in value Lost – in less than 2 months.
  2. SpaceX has admitted officially it might NEVER Achieve Profitability!-!

We have a history of net losses and may not achieve profitability in the future

– That is SPACEX’s own admission in their S-1 Filed with the Security and Exchange Commission, May 2026

Their SEC Filing does not use weasely lawyer language to say SpaceX won’t be profitable in merely some vague short-term future. That would leave open a profitability possibility at some unidentified later epoch.

No, SpaceX admits it might NEVER Achieve Profitability ! !

As in — Not Going to Happen ! ! !

And that’s from the world’s biggest SpaceX advocate himself. Who’s best known character feature is – gigantic “overstatements” (as in whoppers & fish-stories).

So lets try a Contest – See if you can be the first person to read these fully referenced facts and still believe the Spectacularly Overvalued SpaceX stock is going to make you money – like Every Wall Street ANALYST Believes !

To begin, SpaceX is not a Space company. It is a money-losing and client-losing AI company holding up a money-losing Rocket company. With both of those somewhat held up by an apparently profitable Starlink. Starlink is reportedly profitable, but there are some accounting “anomalies” we’ll look at later.

Ed Elson, an analyst who also co-hosts the Prof G Markets podcast with entrepreneur Scott Galloway, shredded the company’s S-1 filing, calling SpaceX a “Trainwreck” and saying the filing was “unserious, empty, hallucinatory, and borderline dishonest.

The stock is set to be priced at 107 TIMES SALES, which would make it one of the most expensive stocks in history,” he said.

It will be twice as valuable [as] Walmart – while generating less revenue (dd: not profits) than Macy’s.

Here’s a normal Range of Tech companies Stock Price to Sales Ratios :

      • Software (Internet): ~9
      • Software (System & Application): ~11
      • Semiconductor: ~15
      • Semiconductor Equipment: ~7

vs SpaceX at ~107 !

What the Heck is Muck doing ?

What the Heck is Musk doing ? (Image AI Generated, Text 100% human generated)

SpaceX has already lost more value than any other company – ever; as in a Trillion dollars ! Musk should be chanting — We’re Number 1 (then quietly) Loser.

Further, about 80% of SpaceX’s future profitability (of the spectacularly claimed $28 Trillion market) is based on its “Grok” AI engine. But so far, Grok has at most a 3.4% market share and SpaceX’s own engineers aren’t using it !

So is Musk a Con-Man playing his magic flute selling investors the science fiction that HIS Guiness World-Record Money-Losing Company is worth 10-15 Times More than any of those boring (profitable) Tech companies?

Will Lockett explains why SpaceX is already “Functionally Bankrupt.” They are out of money and have no way to pay back any future loans.

SpaceX Needs Starship to stop Bleeding Money.

But Starship is a disaster – an operational and financial disaster.

Starship can never carry astronauts because it keeps blowing up, costs way too much for a tiny and shrinking customer base, and still can’t carry even half its promised full load.

SpaceX needs massive profits to repay the investment $$$ billions dumped into Starship — which is SpaceX’s only viable route to increasing profits.

You can’t carry astronauts with less than 99% successful landings, or you can’t get verified as a safe human carrying vehicle. But 50% of Starship launches have ended in the upper stage exploding. In 2025 three launches blew up in a row.

Starship’s largest payload to space so far was only 10 tons, a mere tenth of what was promised.

And Starship costs way more than Falcon to get things in orbit; the inverse of what was claimed – and desperately needed.

Falcon 9 costs about $2,700 to send a kilogram to Low Earth Orbit (LEO).
Musk promised Starship would only cost $100 for the same thing. Instead, overly generous calculations show its more like $4,000 per kilo. Whoops. 40 times more!?!

Two thirds (66%) of SpaceX 2024 launches were for SpaceX’s own Starlink – which is losing customers fast. Where’s their needed growing customer base?

Oh and NASA is giving up on SpaceX – they are reopening up Bids  to take Humans to the moon.

Oh say supporters, the stock offering will save it.
I suspect they mean the SPCX stock that lost more than a Trillion dollars setting a Guinness World Record for the biggest loss on Wall Street.

Now is a good moment to recall what a bang-up job Musk did with Twitter:

With Musk in charge making massive changes, Twitter lost more than half its value in a less than two years ($77 stock price crashed down to $33) !

And just in case you trust Musk’s Fish Stories, you might ponder how a California Jury found Musk had misled Twitter investors.

So, now do you still believe in the Easter Bunny and SpaceX ?

If so, please write me a check for $100-Million US Dollars and I will promise to send something to Mars.
